Around Chiang Mai
With the following tours we pick you up at your hotel in the morning and bring you back at the end of the day. Transport is by airconditioned minivan. One Day Elephant Safari
You are picked up from your hotel by your guide. Drive north of Chiang Mai to Mae Taman (approx. 1hr) to the elephant camp. At the elephant camp you will see the elephants taking their morning bath and demonstrating some of their skills. Afterwards take an elephant ride for approx. 1 hrs to a Lisu hill tribe village. The ride takes you through some of the lovely forest scenery and along the river. You will come back to the elephant camp by oxcart. After lunch take a bamboo raft trip down the river, admire the scenery and absorb the tranquility as you float down the river. Then drive back to Chiang Mai in the afternoon.
Adventurous Jungle Trek
We drive to Mae Wang where we ride the elephants from the elephant camp. After that we walk for about 45 minutes to a Meo (Hmong) Hilltribe village. Lunch is near the river and from here we board the bamboorafts. Next we take a short walk to a Karen village. Then we visit a waterfall where we can swim. After that we drive back to Chiang Mai.
One Day Doi Suthep and Handicrafts
Tour the most famous temple of Chiang Mai, Doi Suthep. Situated on the hills overlooking Chiang Mai, the temple offers a panoramic view of the area. Also tour some of the handicraft centres. You will be able to see many of the items being made and have the chance to buy souvenirs and gifts
Golden Triangle, Burma and Laos
In the morning we visit hot springs and go to an Akha and a Yao hilltribe village. We continue to the old temples of Chiang Saen on the Mekong river. After that we visit the famous Golden Triangle, the point where Laos, Burma and Thailand converge. After lunch we drive to Mae Sai, the city on the border with Burma. You can see a lot of Burmese people and products here. If you want you can cross to the Burmese side and get a new 1 month visa for Thailand. Drive back to Chiang Mai.
Doi Inthanon highest mountain
We drive to Chom Thong where we visit a very old temple with beautiful wall paintings. After that we drive to the spectacular Mae Klang waterfall. It is still 45 km to the top of Doi Inthanon (2596 meters). We visit two pagodas here erected for the king and queen. There is a beautiful view from here. Also we do a nature walk in a very mysterious forest. After lunch we descend to a Karen village, the largest hilltribe group in Thailand and originally from Burma. We end with the big Vachirathan waterfall, you can swim here. Late afternoon back to Chiang Mai.br>
Thai Cooking on a farm
You will stay the whole day on a farm in the countryside. They grow their own vegetables and herbs here. You are cooking yourself several dishes. Includes lunch and recipe book.
Longnecks

First we visit an Orchid Farm. Then to a small factory where they make paper out of elephant dung.After that we go to the beautiful cave of Chiang Dao. We continue to a Hmong village and an Akha village and go to a viewpoint where there is a huge white Buddha statue. After lunch we go to the highlight of the tour, the Longneck village. This people originally come from Burma and have been living in Thailand for only 15 years.
Jungle and Adventure
Dag 1 Arrival in Chiang Mai and transfer to the hotel hotel.
